    ... moved in the same day we arrived. Despite running on 5 hours of sleep, too much artificial energy, and having just spent 72 hours packing and moving, we helped unpack and move a bit more before relaxing. In all fairness Kait drove 13+ hours.

    I'm 2.5 hours into my journey. My friend, Rhonda, is brave and nice enough to take me to O'Hare tomorrow for my 5:30 am flight. Yup, 5:30 am. I'm hoping to get three hours of sleep, if that. Tara is, or should be, in route to Miami. We will connect there tomorrow and then head to Puerto Plata.

    It has been hot and humid and I am cooling my heels at the lake house. My goals were to recover 12 dining room chairs and do a little dry wall mudding, sanding and painting. I love it here except that it has no air conditioning. No TV is not a problem. The fan helped a lot. I have caught up on some me time and a pajama day or two.
