    ... br> We did all of this before noon so we're both feeling pretty good about the day. The last few weeks have been really up and down; some days we feel very burned out and other days we feel as though we can do this forever.     ... is serious about its recycling at least in the rest areas! Talk about being very specific about sorting your recycled items. Inside the rest area, they had a dirt track bike. Dave Standen, this photo is for you. Dick said that you used to go to dirt track races in Wisconsin! Arrived in Milwaukee after being on the road for about 6.5 hours.     I'm 2.5 hours into my journey. My friend, Rhonda, is brave and nice enough to take me to O'Hare tomorrow for my 5:30 am flight. Yup, 5:30 am. I'm hoping to get three hours of sleep, if that. Tara is, or should be, in route to Miami. We will connect there tomorrow and then head to Puerto Plata.

    It has been hot and humid and I am cooling my heels at the lake house. My goals were to recover 12 dining room chairs and do a little dry wall mudding, sanding and painting. I love it here except that it has no air conditioning. No TV is not a problem. The fan helped a lot. I have caught up on some me time and a pajama day or two. I finished all of my projects and am ready to travel to the family reunion in Michigan ...
