Sadly our drive home reminded us just why we don’t drive and dusk or dawn when the car in front of us hit a kangaroo, with tears in our eyes we tried to convince ourselves that at least we had saved the turtle, but we vowed never to drive at dusk or dawn again!

Following on from last week's blog, Ken’s heart was 'in
sync’ on the Friday when we had gone for treatment. We therefore had to curtail
our plans and stay in Canberra for an angiogram to view Ken’s arteries before
being prescribed a drug to keep his Atrial Fibulation (AF) in rhythm.

... wild turkeys!! In total we had 412.2mm of rain in that time (16.4" for the old school). It was an unbelievable experience, scary at times, but we rode it out. We were never in danger of being flooded at the van, however there was alot of water across the road etc straight across from the caravan park.
