... we settled up the tab and paid for 30 gallons of 100LL at (wait for it....) $6.82/ gallon!!!! I guess the "free" shuttle ride and "complimentary" courtesy car were being paid for somehow after all. That's over $2.50/gallon more than the average fuel price we'd paid so far, and almost $1/gallon more than fuel in the Bahamas. The original plan this morning was to hop back in the plane and reposition it over to Mineral Wells Airport just north of the town of Millsap, where Jamie now lives. Jamie arrived at the hotel with Tuff and Marky and, after quickly catching up, we headed to the Stock Yards.
