    Hi Everyone,

WE DID IT!!!! We just finished our first 11 days of dry camping and boy we have learned a lot about the do's and don'ts of our home. If you do not know what dry camping is......it is like tent camping, but with a comfy bed.....no hooking up to electricity, water or sewer and showers were few and very short due to water conservation. You don't want to run out of water in the desert :P. We enjoyed ourselves here so much ...

Driving by Quartzsite, Arizona...what are all those RV's, 5th wheels and trailers doing out there in the desert in the middle of nowhere? This is another one of those places that is practically impossible to describe if you haven't seen it for yourself! It's RV show time in the tiny desert community of Quartzsite, swelling the population to tens of thousands+, most of those folks, us included, doing free camping ...

    Hi Everyone,

Well, we have been here for almost 1-1/2 weeks and I think it is time to move on real soon.
We met some really nice people while boon docking. I believe I had said we met two couples from Canada and they come here and do this every year at this spot for as long as they can. We met another couple from I believe CA, but they also full time, The Robinson's. They like to travel like we do, get ...

    Hi Everyone,

We are leaving Laughlin, NV now and heading to Quartzsite, AZ and it's already January 10th, where does the time go. We had a good time in Laughlin but did not come away rich with their dollars. The weather was great, 70 and in the RV Park when we would drive around all you could see were older people basking in the sun. See, everyone wants to warm their bones. The road ...

Day 219 - We drove the 80 miles from Havasu to Quartzsite and found a free campground run by the state. Basically you drive off the road onto flat desert and go for it! We found a great fire pit already built and the three RV's all surrounded it and made the middle our living area with all our doors opening towards the fire pit. We (all 6 of us) have our chairs a table to two out and we all eat together. We had a mishap with the surge protector after a great ...
