Our plan had been to travel to northern Arizona through the National Parks and make our way to the Grand Canyon and then Las Vegas. After looking at the upcoming weather for those areas though, we realized we might get a little cold at night and we were both sick of being cold. We did this to escape the cold and sure it's -25degreesC at home and only 5degrees here but we sleep in a van without heating and have to go outside to pee so it’s pretty much the same thing. ...

There are tons of vender's, flea markets and everything rving from parts to services there. Ben and Jo came out from Phoenix for a night and we all cruised around shopping at the flea markets. Good ...

With four RV's now travelling together, we were able to make a big, open square, with the trailers sheltering us from the desert winds and dust and ...

... to Southern California. From Indio, we drove about two hours to Parker, Arizona, which is on the Arizona/California border, and the Colorado River. We spent 10 days there, hanging out with family and friends before heading down to Quartzsite, Arizona. Quartzsite is very well known in the RV world. It is a town of about 3,000 year round residents but swells to tens of thousands more in the winter. Snowbirds from all over ...
