          Nice Clean Room!

The room is a nice clean room, a little small but nice. The location is a little off the beaten path, but a short drive into Pismo Beach center where all the action is.

Monday we traveled to Pismo Beach, where we were staying for 2 nights at a lovely hotel with an oceanfront room. We got settled in & had dinner at Marie Collander's resaurant (Chicken pot Pie, yeah) . Tues we waked around the beach for a while ...

Came to a lovely little coast town Cayucos, really quaint with a pier and as we cycled in there was a fish& chip shop, Duckies, so Peter said we just had to stop even though it was only 11.30 so we shared a portion of fried snapper with chips and a beer, very good. It was warming up now and there were lots of ...

... few purchases made by the three men of the family before we picked up our 1st takeaway meal of the holiday. Honestly I'm over hotel food as strange as that sounds so takeout was a light welcome choice. We all took a night time walk along the boardwalk and through the town before heading back to our room for the night.

Tonight we turned on the TV and saw that the US government has been shut down...breaking news here.
