... Lodge if your travels take you to Pismo Beach and you need a place to stay and eat, both right off the Price Street 101 exit. Had such a pleasant evening catching up with dear old friends tonight for dinner at Tahoe Joes and enjoying my mom's company. There are just barely a few days left, but I have plenty more last minute shopping to do! Wishing everyone a wonderful remainder of the holiday ...
... with another couple days in Carmel Valley.
As we were there we decided to undertake the famous, 17 mile drive. It's actually 8 1/2 miles, I guess you're expected to turn around at the end and drive back again. We parked on the road and walked down to the ocean - the beach was amazing ...
... that we have will do it justice! After a relaxing afternoon in Pismo, we had an even more relaxing evening in Paso Robles at the natural hot springs hot tub. We had to change the location of our evening as the previous hot springs had lost our booking after we checked 4 hours before (not impressed!). But boy am I glad that we found this place. It was a 45 minute drive up the coast, ...
