Early in the morning we are off on a journey to Nashville.

We head to the Stones River National Battlefield for a driving tour of the sites while the kids complete a junior ranger program. We learn about the soldiers and battle during the civil war that took place in this area. We visited the cemetary, battle sites, fort and redoubt and farm area where the soldiers crossed the ford.
