Whale Watching
Having seen whale watching tours all the way down the coast and deciding not to do them for fear of the kids getting sea sick we decided to take the chance and go on one out of Port Macquarie today. The reasoning being that the tour was only an hour and a half and it was a jet boat which meant getting out and back in quick time.

Kangaroos and Guitars
... I had never needed a hot shower so much - was bliss.
Just chilled out this afternoon and went into town to have coffee with James and Chris which was nice. Saw an amazing pair of shoes but DEFINITELY not allowed to buy them!
The hostal is so nice and so are the people that are staying so I'm also staying here for another 2 nights and hopefully will be able to do the beach walk and the weather will sort itself out so I can take some photos!!

Seal Rocks / Port Macquarie
... Seal Rocks would have gone. And in fact it IS pretty cool.
Got Lunch there, took a view, rode on to Port Macquarie. Unfortunately we had to build up the camp again in the darkness. I got used to sleeping in a tent. I got that inflatable matress which was pretty comfortable! When it was built i lay in it gazing at the clear stars above me in the cold nightsky... thinking about ...
Day 24, New South Wales, Australia.
... we have already seen quite a few animals in the wild including kangaroos, but as yet not a koala. The hospital was only small and catered for injured and orphaned koala's, the ones we saw were there because of bush fire injuries but well on their way to recovery and ohh so cute. In the afternoon we went walking before stopping at the mouth of the river where dolphins are often spotted in the early evening - but no luck for us ...
Pretty Port
... shop, it had started raining, so we didn't benefit from the swimming pool but instead made the most of the free games room and films - can't beat a bit of Colin Firth in the King's Speech!
The next day was a bit overcast, but we set out on a coastal walk, taking in Town Beach, and watching some surfing and trying to figure out what is classed as good surfing, other than just not falling over too much. The beaches really are ...
