Last morning and we had the very good intention to continue our morning routine. Consequently we had our pre gym breakfast in the cabin before heading up to deck nine where we were thwarted in our endeavor by closed doors. How very annoying! Instead we went down to deck four and walked one lap around the ship looking out over the port of Fort Lauderdale. Got dressed and went up to Lido. Sat a very long time doing French grammar, eating and ...

Same start to the day. We are good at keeping it up i must say! The pre gym brekkie is an added incentive and a great help to get you up. We had half a day at the private island of Holland America. Beautiful tropical one with nice beach. Tendering which was easy and fast as the vessel took 300 passengers. No hurry for us and we enjoyed a long breakfast in Lido. Annoying still, and to a greater extent i must say, that we are not allowed ...

Hard to keep a diary when we do the same thing all the time! No difference in morning routine. At sea the whole day but still a lot on. We went to the culinary arts center and watched a Filipino baker make cinnamon buns and another sweet and savory bun which i later tried and didn't much like. Too sweet with the addition of cheese which couldn't be tasted. No samples so we were a bit miffed! John and I were invited to ...

Very nice stop today at this half Dutch half French island. We disembarked on the Dutch side but could hear French spoken in many shops. A nice place with a bit of a beach esplanade lined with shops and bars and little restaurants. Three ships had docked but it didn't feel very crowded. Many might never leave the ship. We walked into a few shops and the boys bought sun glasses. Found ourselves a nice place on the beach a bit away from ...

Carbon copy morning again. It is fabulous to start the morning in this fashion even though i am pretty tired. We have set our clocks forward so had everything postponed one hour. No way i was getting up at 5.30 old time being on holidays. Today the sip docked in San Juan the second oldest colonial town in the Americas settled in 1521 I believe, but not until midday. We had from twelve to 7.30 in this mainly Spanish ...
