We've stopped for the night but I'm still rocking with the motion of the train.... Left Virginia and headed north....passed Baltimore, Philadelphia, NYC...and made it all the way to Connecticut. What a day: Florida to CT ( Palm trees to snow) in 25 hours - ...

We are excited and looking forward to our next adventure to Morocco. This is a trip that we have wanted to do for some time. We will visit ancient cities with medinas, walled with maze-like streets, village oases, and nomadic tribes that still roam the Sahara. A lovely drive to Cape Cod and Hyannis. We drove around the suburbs and streets and ended up at the beach for a fabulous sunset. The scenery was quintessential Cape Cod. Beautiful.

Dinner at a lovely local restaurant......and a load of washing! A great few days.

And the tub was well equipped with bars, but I wondered if a shower stall with a bench would not have been more practical. The whole experience made me very grateful for my abilities and more aware of what a struggle life must be for those with visual or mobility issues.

Leaving August 1st, we will be flying to L.A. for one night and flying out at midnight on the 3rd to arrive in Hong Kong. After 20 days in China (10 Hong Kong, 10 Beijing) we will be flying down to Vietnam where we will be embarking upon overland travel -trains- for roughly two weeks down the coast of Vietnam. Once we hit Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City we fly into Siem Reap, Cambodia for 10 days, give or take depending on exactly how terrified we feel once we ...
