    ... in Brooklyn. We drove south this morning, following the Connecticut River Byway most of the way. The weather was fittingly gloomy all day. However, tonight is game 7 of the World Series, every single day of this trip has been amazing and it will be good to sleep in my own bed.

    This morning started out at a 'brisk' 42 degrees. We've had such a mild fall in NYC this year, it was a little shocking.     After the great exercise, Brian decided to make homemade pasta. Tony and Michelle had a pasta maker and Brian showed them his technique for making pasta from scratch in a very short amount of time. We made two types of sauce: a tomato based sauce and a pesto. Both were delicious.

    Looking at the pictures I took, I wish I had taken one of David! =(

    ... dimmer. Around Greenfield we tried to find Turners Falls fish ladder but seemed to miss the signs. Drove around a bit to see if we could find anywhere to stay. We had the address of a Days Inn but thought we might find something else. By the time we got to the Days Inn we were ready to stop. They had a room which is very big.
