... place and head towards Nashville initially on the National Park roads with some great views and an encounter on the road with deer, a squirrel and a snake (about 4ft long) We didnt stop in case it didnt like us!

... Either way we bought a scoop of their ice cream and it was magnificent. After the Museum we wanted to go and see an old cotton plantation which Tennesse is famous for as well as the other more Southern states like Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi. We went to ‘Travellers Rest’ a famous plantation, now a museum, not only for cotton but for its civil war history. The home was built by John Overton in 1799 one of the founders of Memphis.
