... border of Camp Lejeune has over nighters, full timers, permanent smaller mobile homes. It is clean and most sites have wood decks and surrounded with trees, with wi-fi, cable and we even got a free t-shirt.

We got here and the weather was beautiful!! Sun out and a nice breeze so we opened the windows and prepared to clean out the disabled refrigerator. I guess we didn't think about what ...

We have been chasing the falling colored leaves since the start of our trip. They had pretty much all fallen in Canada about a month ago and it seems like we were a week behind everywhere we went but we finally caught up. The leaves were beautiful and bright. They had started falling but the trees were still full and there was a nice ...

Ferries and Pirates

... Once we boarded we saw a lot of birds feeding and many were pelicans, albatross and osprey. Big birds! We rode over in the comfort of our little home looking out the windows at other passing ferries and fishing boats. The route was once a straight route but now meanders back and forth to the other side. We speculated that the route is now avoiding bird and turtle habitat, but we're not sure. The ferryman said it has added ...
