    The predicted rain held off for the road trip from Nhill to Adelaide. Very uneventful as being a Sunday the traffic was light and smooth flowing. We arrived at Adelaide Shores park 3.30 and whilst I was booking in it started to drizzle. Good luck Heh? On the way we stopped at Tailem Bend and had lunch. Tried to start the stove.     ... interesting to see. Today we are staying in a town called Coober Pedy. It’s an opal-mining town and people literally dig into the side of mountains and live underground. I think it probably started with miners just living in the mine, and then evolved into people realizing that it was a good way to not need heating or cooling, so they just lived in mines and turned them into homes.     On Thursday morning we packed our few belongings and headed off about 8:30 for Ballarat. We decided against doing Great Ocean Road on the way home as it would have made it a two day trip and we only had one.
