... connection that not just some of us had, but that every single one of us had. There was a rainfall of joyous tears, enough hugs to asphyxiate 4,500 bears, and perpetual smiles that would make Dentine proud. We made it!! After what ended up being a 5 hour layover in Chicago, we made it to Birmingham. Thanks to the coaxing of the flight attendant, I was able to sleep for most of the flight (whispered into the speaker: "Shhhh!
