... to face these challenges when I was working in oncology. ...I'm so glad I dropped in to visit - I took pictures and I only wish they truly reflected this happy family - I wanted to be part of it!! Malkanti and Asoka would be proud!!! I didn't do my rude thing and pull out my iPad to post an entry ( like I did with Carole and family) - so the location stamp here won't read Atlanta, Georgia ...but this place where I camped last night....Cordele is a mere 152 miles south ...

We began our trip to Oshkosh on Thursday morning. Lunch in Tifton, GA at Hog and Bone Barbeque. Good sandwich - there is also one of these in Waycross. Arrived at the campground around 2 PM after changing to central time zone. Our site is about 20 feet from the edge of the lake. We can watch the boaters from our bedroom window! We'll try to leave early tomorrow since it is another almost 300 mile day. ...

This is our first morning on this site and as the sun is cresting the trees on the far side of the creek, we are sitting in our car (heater on - it is 33 degrees), and the American Coots are collecting. (Yes, Virginia, they are preparing for their journey to Monona Bay.) They are so funny to watch dive for their food - they have a little "hop" before going under the surface. Oh, here comes the sun! There is a mist rising across the water.

... we think the full 150 feet. In fact, on the way down, there were benches to rest on, so that was nice. The terrain was a little rough, but if you took it slow, it was fine. I have to tell you, while going down the trail, we got a little nervous about the climb back up. But I have to tell you; it was not bad at all. We did stop at every bench available.
