Great place to stay. The outside looked groovy, back a few decades. But step inside to the 20th Century with completely renovated rooms and good WiFi. A microwave would be good.

      ¡El mejor!

      from

      The Best!

      from

This family owned lodge is right on the main street in town. It is walking distance to the grocery store, laundry, post office and other Kanab businesses. The rooms are well maintained and clean! The owners are extremely friendly and willing to accommodate special needs - they also allow pets. No other hotel in Kanab offers this comfort. I highly recommend it!

      Un precio fantástico

      from

      Toller Preis

      from

      Great Price

      from

I just spent a week volunteering at Best Friends and needed a clean, inexpensive room where I could have overnight visits with some of the adoptable dogs. This place was almost perfect. The room was clean and had two queen beds and a full bath (something not available at every Kanab motel), microwave, fridge and cable TV with HBO. The owner is very nice and accommodating. He even let me bring the dogs into the lobby to say hello.

Like all in Kanab, the motel is old. The room was very small (if you've been to New York you can get an idea of what to expect) and the lighting wasn't the greatest. But, the entire week cost me about $200 so it was more than worth it. If you are volunteering at Best Friends or just passing thru Kanab, stay here. You might feel a bit claustrophobic, but from what I've heard, rooms at the other motels are even smaller.

Quail Park Lodge is a good budget motel in Kanab, Utah

      from

We found our stay at Quail Lodge in October a great bargain. Our room was spacious and clean, with a refrigerator and microwave. It is next door to a lovely park with plantings and waterfalls celebrating the pioneers who settled the area. The motel is near the highway but quiet. Kanab abounds in rather expensive chain motels, but this mom and pop operation truly competes with them at much better prices. Kanab is a charming town. Member, Spokane, WA.

      Good value and location

      from

It's a tiny but clean motel in a convenient location. The room was nice with two queen beds, an adequate bathroom and amenities including microwave, fridge and tv. I would suggest adding an in-room coffeemaker for convenience but the manager does provide coffee in the office. It was a friendly, laid-back setting. The price was good so I'd recommend it if you are looking for a no-frills place to stay in Kanab.

      Great place

      from

Since the rates were so low I was a bit worried, but found the motel excellent! Rooms were much nicer than any Motel 6 I've stayed in. Very clean. We enjoyed the pool and sitting at the modest outdoor patio with a great view. The owner could not have been friendlier. Location was good - we walked everywhere. If you are used to high-end travel stay with Best Western (and pay accordingly) but I will definately stiay with Quail Park Lodge.

      Quail Park Lodge

      from

Quail Park Lodge is across the street from Shilo Inn and you can get a room for less than half the price. We stayed there in May 2006 and would stay there again. Cable TV, HBO, microwave and refrig in rom with free wireless in the office area. It's a no-frills bathroom but we found it to be clean. The owner suggested places for us to eat when we told him what we wanted to eat that evening. Photos show the room and also the bathroom.

... over the rocks. It took half an hour each way and we arrived on top of the blind arch that we had seen from the road snaking up to the tunnel. it was quite spectacular to see down along the canyon between the towering rock walls. Behind us, the rocks were changing colour with the lowering sun, and before us the rays of the sun were streaming out over the canyon. We stayed there about 20 mins but didn't wait until sunset in case it was too dark to clearly see the trail back. ...

It was well over 100 degrees so the kids hit the pool and we chilled out in the AC. About 5pm we head out to find a place to eat and walked about 2 blocks to the Spotted Dog.
