At our first night at an airbnb, we were made to feel very welcome by Vicki and Buddy, they showed us to a very lovely large bedroom with an onsuite. Having slept very well the next morning we left early for Gatlinburg, the second attempt! No short cuts, no scenic routes just the Interstate all the way. We had to pass through Pigeon Forge and we were amazed by the buildings ( if you can call them that ). A play ground ...

We travelled through heavy rain, clouds and very twisting roads up and down mountains. The Cherohala Skyway was probably one of the most fun, the Dragon was intense, the Rattler was a bit less impressive than the hype, and the loop through the GSMNP was nice. Gatlinburg is definitely not a good city to visit on the bikes but everywhere else we stopped was good. The maps from America Rides Maps were top ...

... of a family, or a vet, or patient, or family member or friend. Seeing this land of ours up close and personal, on a bike/motorcycle/HOG, makes me HOPE (Gilda's Club T Shirt I have on today) the families this campaign is benefiting will allow them to live life, experience the thrill of travel, and live past the burdens of fear. I hope I can make a difference and I thank all those that are making it happen. ...

    A Day in Gatlinburg

    Monday, April 13

Monday morning we got up, had our morning coffee and discussed where we would spend the day. We elected to head out to Cades Cove but had no idea how to get there except to head toward Gatlinburg. I couldn't find any addresses for the Visitors Center so we just headed on. We finally found a Visitors Center (by accident) and went in. They directed us toward Cades Cove where we went to ...
