    ... close for his comfort. 400 ft must not have been far enough away, lol. His anchor dragged during the storm and he nearly drifted right into the breakwater forcing his crew to scurry on deck with flashlights while they reanchored.

    ... losing their jobs.
    Two years ago Hurricane Sandy caused huge damage to some buildings here along the boardwalk, and although now fully repaired, given the close proximity of the ocean, it will be inevitable that future big storms will again wreck havoc.

    We were ready to leave after a light lunch and beer, whilst 'people watching' on the boardwalk.... back to the car , ...

    ... of Wildwoods, exploring the tree lined streets filled with Victorian era mansions painted in bright colours like pink and blue. They were all built in the same style in the 1800's after the original town was almost entirely burnt to the ground.
