For years I have thought it would be a great adventure to travel to all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums in one summer. After finally committing to do it I have learned that I am far from the only one who has had this on their mind. The typical reactions when I tell someone of my plan are "I have always wanted to do that" or "That would be amazing".

Wyoming is beautiful, absolutely, unbelievably beautiful. Well, at least the southern part we drove across. The landscape moves from open plains to green, white-capped mountains to rocky desert. There was absolutely nothing remarkable about our stay in Evanston. It was all about the drive through Wyoming to get there. Finally, about 5:00 pm, we headed out for Salt Lake City, and will pay for our earlier decision with a pretty late arrival in the Salt Lake City area. Oh well!
We have arranged to visit with my wonderful stepson Eric and his family in Boise, Idaho tomorrow evening. We are so excited!!!

On through the barren oil patch that is Southwest Wyoming to Rock Springs where we jumped on Interstate 80, the fastest route west. The high winds made this a very trying journey.
