... and trails). We saw some great scenery, some of it, 'tho speeding along at 80 mph! Happy to reach the KOA campground around 7, we later realized we'd gained an hour with Mountain Time. Well, that gave us time to do laundry!!! Actually have had one terrific experience after another, even laundry where we met some really nice people. Life " on the road" is ...

  • Filled up my gas tank, got some ice and water, and i was off!
  • It was a short drive to Lubbock, and before i knew it I was there!

A few rather strange folk are in our car, plus there's only one restroom. Showers down stairs so that was a no no for me, as I don't do stairs especially in a moving rocking, jolting train!

Dinner we opted to have at 7pm and steak was delish. A Canadian club with ginger ale helped restore the mood!

... the folks at the KOA campgrounds have all been super friendly and cheerful. I think some of these places are franchises so they have to make sure the campers are happy. On the road in Colorado!
