... holding up here waiting for a weather window Saturday morning. There is a low approaching Cape Hattress/Cape Fear that is bringing 30-40 kt winds, gusts to 50 with 10-15 ft seas. Fortunately it is nice and comfortable inside with the three heating units running. This also gives us time to go over the boat in greater detail to ensure that everything is ready. With 3 guys on board the boat is looking like a bachelor pad.
... raped and murdered in some out of the way, ramshackle, alley next to the hostel? I am guessing no. I am not the first college student to try and travel on the cheap. I hope.
All the questions become whispers in the back of my mind as I think of all the things I will see, the people I will meet, and the fun I will have. That trumps all!
Well we were able too out run the snow,first three days drove 12hrs.per day that was hell,driving ar nite getting lost #$#@ the second nite at parsippany NJ into bed and out back on road to virgina beach another 12hrs driving and getting lost got into virgina beach about 10 at nite.
Finally Sunday we did some site seeing went to Norfolk and did the naval museum took pics.
I think everyone is grumpy. One lady got mad at me because I told her that her bag needed to be checked in at the gate because it didn't fit in the overhead or under the seat in front of her. Of course she had to tell me that it fit on the way down. To myself I said "well it doesn't fit now!". Then another ...
Clearly ignoring the ample signage, the surf was up and so were the surfers. As the sun was setting, an Oyster boat returned to harbor packed to the top with a fresh catch. We would enjoy some later.
