... we went for a bit of a walk down the block, and I must say; America is a backwards country. I keep looking left when I'm meant to look right to cross the road. I keep moving left instead of right to move out of someone else's path, and when I bought $3.07 worth of stuff from the Seven Eleven with a $5 note, I got 1 note and 8 coins as change! ... our turn taking pictures by the "bean." That was fun. Ruby, Jaimie, and Chrissy decided,to down to the Navy Pier while I went to the Art Institute of Chicago. ... shoppers- I now want to experience the Macys here in Chicago. Seven stores high, each one so wide and big you forget where the escalator is! The ceiling of the tower is amazing, a beautiful mosaic design.

... br> Everyone on the train was chatty, and friendly. Even the Amtrak staff. The lady who was announcing the dinner reservations, added that the dining car is community seating "and you will make a friend!" to the end of every announcement. Her emphasis on "wait" was pretty funny too. The symphony of snoring made me chuckle throughout the night. As did the frozen milk chunks on my cereal this morning. Proper adventures!
