... in Madrid. I had a hard time falling asleep, but I did get a couple of hours in. We land in less than an hour and now they are serving breakfast. I just opted for fruit and coffee, but they tried to give me toast, yogurt, a croissant, and orange juice too. I was able to politely refuse this time. All the attendants have been very nice. None of the women speak English, but the men all do. I'm looking forward to a great day exploring Madrid! Adios, ...

... ice-cream shop at The James hotel near Max & Sarah's - it was only operating from 3:00 to 5:00pm today, and advertised in chalk on the footpath. ... enjoying the delightful breeze and the pleasant weather out of doors. So we kept an eye on them while staying on the lower deck on the other side of the window where they were. Ken went in and got them a drink while, brilliantly, collecting some ideas from the barkeep on what we could do during our day.
