... Thx Todd for letting me shop in Saginaw while you napped! Saginaw to Flint...OMG 4 lanes of warp speed traffic, enough to make me barf! Todd is an awesome driver, some muttering about "left lane nazis" but he is a pro! I saw the speedometer hit 140 km/hr! Sign along the highway says "prison area, don't pick up hitchhikers".....next sign says "adopt a highway" hmmmmm, I'm guessing the girl guides won't be adopting ...

We energetically went for a swim in the lake to cool down and then ...

... conversations with the florist, as she had ordered some wrong flowers, we began to fill the jars with white lilac, fearns, orange blossom (which smelt AMAZING!!), lavender.... Although not fully in bloom was a lovely little blue accent and then the main event.... Some stunning pink peonies. Now I know they weren't the colour alexis had envisioned, as they were too dark and vibrant, but they looked stunning in the vases. Her aunt came down to see ...

... to Belle Isle. The Detroit and Windsor skylines were impressive.

We're approaching our home waters with mixed emotions. It's nice to be nearing home, but we realize this is our last day of our current adventure.

Lake St. Clair was smooth as glass and we took the scenic route through the St. Clair Flats South ...
