      Heute fuhren wir in den Grand Teton NP. Wir wussten nicht so ganeu, was man hier so alles machen kann und so fuhren wir einfach mal drauflos.       ... along Jenny Lake. At the south end of the lake we hopped on a shuttle boat to the other side of the lake to hike to Hidden Falls. On our trip in 1989, we hiked the 5 mile round trip. This time we hiked less than a mile round trip. Twenty-five years has taken its toll.

      We decided we needed some time to catch up on things, so we found a campground a short distance away in Jackson.

      ... We got settled, had some dinner then Sevi made one of his great campfires, which we sat around drinking and talking until late into the night.

      ... for some boating. E and D got a kayak, while A and I rented a canoe. We all enjoyed paddling around and soaking in the views. That was, until I realized my phone and car keys had gone missing!! I had put them in a ziploc bag and put that in my jacket pocket. Somehow it managed to wrestle free from under the lifejacket and plunk into the water. We circled back to see if we could find it (hoping it was floating), but it was not to be found. ...
