... parking spot close to our reserved seats. There is no traffic! This is great! We get to the parking garage, and walk back the way we came 3/4 of a mile to a local Methodist church for a pancake breakfast. Apparently this is THE big fundraiser for this church and it is obvious that they've done it before. It is super organized and the lines move very quickly. Pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice - not exactly vegan fare, but I skip the meat and go the vegetarian route. ...

... as you can imagine - not the best feeling in the world. There was no overhead storage space so we had to have our bags by our feet. This wasn't so much a problem for Dais but I had a huge holdall to shove down. The flight from Hawaii to LA was only five and a half hours and there was turbulence most of the way and most of the way we slept. ... we walked out onto the massive viewing platform. This platform overlooks the bay if Monterey. This bay holds host to many creatures and has such an amazing Eco system much like our own barrier reef minus the reef.
