... around through the shops and market and grabbed an ice cream before heading home. Court had a nap while I showered and then we headed out for a late Brooklyn dinner at a cocktail place called Sunshine Co our host had recommended. Had a delicious pulled pork sandwich for dinner. Then we went to Franklin Place which was a pub/beer garden around the corner. And from there to Butter and Scotch which is a cocktail dessert place to finish up. And finish up we did, ...

Alice arrived in the evening via San Francisco. We went out to dinner on the first night at an Italian just by the apartment. Nick put in one of his finest restaurant performances ever, we won't be going ...

... we look forward to meeting up with back in the UK.

Tonight we will be seeing in New Year in the flat. We live right around the corner from Times Square and it is already mayhem. I have never seen so many police all in one place and the roads are already blocked off. We even have to show a letter to be able to get in and out of our building (makes me feel rather important). Being so close to Times Square I imagine we will very clearly hear ...
