Today we hiked to Angora Lake which consists of upper and lower lakes. Once we reached our destination at 7340' elevation, we were surprised to see so many people, young and old, picnicking along the water's edge and actually swimming, rowing, and paddle boarding on the icy water. We have been advised to head back to the 395 to go north to Lake Tahoe as it is apparently the best drive, this does mean back tracking a little bit, heading out of the park via the Tioga Pass which is the same route we entered the park, but we really don't mind at the drive was so beautiful. The snow has cleared a lot since we entered the park 2 days ago and it looks completely different. We have seen some amazing sights in Yosemite and today was no exception. ...
