    ... and was thoroughly embarrassed. It was quite a tumble. Luckily no zoo animals were injured during the fall.

    Eventually our visit came to an end. Megan and Vanessa had to get back to their respective jobs, and we headed out the first of December to Apache Flats RV Park at Fort Huachuca Army Base at Sierra Vista, Arizona. I wonder what adventures we will experience on our trip back home?
    We will find out soon enough.

    ... Tempe Diablo Stadium. Score: 15-3 Angels.

    - Sat – Texas Rangers (one of his favorite teams) at Oakland A’s (doesn’t like Oakland) - Phoenix Municipal Stadium. We didn’t go because of the weather (assuming the game would be cancelled), but it wasn’t. Doh!

    - Sun – Milwaukee Brewers at Colorado Rockies (just signed a Canadian named Morneau, but he didn't play) - Salt River ...

    No nunsense, it was a great day!

    ... passed the Welcome to Arizona sign. It's always fun to drive on I-40 through Arizona as we pass all the old Route 66 roadside attractions. Only in Arizona will you find a teepee on the side of the road. It was a hot drive and so when we got to Flagstaff the trees and cooler temperatures were welcomed! All too soon we started into the Valley and felt the heat increase by the minute.

    ... in the back of the van-It is very heavy and hard to move. Also have cards-business cards, store cards, etc in a thing between the seats with a large waste basket behind them-It is about 8 inches taller than the console thing and all the cards had ‘flown’ into the back. But somehow, in all that, the Key from the motel in Seligman showed up!! The ash tray thing that is in the console was also near the back of the van! We were lucky to not have been injured from ...

    ... by. We had gotten off to a rocky start - long story - and I guess we are starting over. She brought me a watermelon and some cole slaw. I gave her the lamp I had in the shed that has been looking for a new home. So I had a smoothie and coleslaw for dinner! My baby birds are doing fine, active, and tonight I watched the mama feeding them.
