    ... overwhelming. It is clear that Australian efforts over half a century to prove itself a reliable friend and ally have resonated with many ordinary Americans. It is as though many see us as kin; quirky long lost cousins cast adrift in the South Seas where they picked up some bad habits, but family nonetheless.     ... looking guy walked toward me from about a block away and told me that no dogs were allowed on the road and that I had to take Nibs back to the motor home. It was only OK to stand outside with him as long as I stayed right beside the motor home door. He said that the office would be registering us into the "pet area" of the park.     ... I approached the desk and asked if I would have to listen to that all the way to Toronto? Three agents looked at each other smiled and gave me no answer. One shrugged his shoulders looking helpless as if they had never been in this situation before nor knew what to do.     ... 8217;s yard). There was also snow in northern Arizona in ski country. For us, it meant hunkering down (no baseball for Roger) and sitting it out. No problems or damage in our park, thank goodness. You know how I HATE freaky weather when we're in the trailer. :(

    ... War on ‘M*a*s*h’. And also we saw them taking the engines of a B-17 taking apart, since the engine only runs for 1200 hours and should be ready for the summer flying. Part of this was, that you could not only closely watch them do their work and ask questions, but also to go into the B-17 and look along the machine gun… touch the bombs…. We also admired the B-25… and wished we had the 700 $ for a ride in the nose ...
