    Tomorrow we move on - catching the 10am car ferry (2hours.30min) to Lewes, then dropping South over the Chesapeake bridge-tunnel to Virginia Beach a further three and a half hours car journey.

    Before the starting gun

    10'x15'... the past 5 years, 2 bedrooms and 4 floors of our home is now crammed into a one cinder-block cell, the mail has been stopped (doubt I'll miss it) and tenants who will be kindly paying our mortgage for the next 12months are now moved in and we're officially "homeless".
    Bethany Beach is where we'll be calling home for the next few weeks, until we jump out on the road at the end of July.

    I could think of worse places to lay-low for awhile.

    Next stop we headed further down the Jersey Shore to Wildwoods which has a goldcoast family holiday type feel to it. We stayed in a little motel right near the beach, although it was much warmer shorts weather it was still not swimming temperature yet.
