Excellent location. Rooms on 5th floor or higher have view of lake. Rooms are small with some traffic noise. Very nice complimentary breakfast. Close to good restaurants. We recommend it.

It was chilly when we left Winnemucca...about 50 degrees. We headed toward Lake Tahoe on a cloudy day and we were psyched when we passed into California and saw sunny blue skies but still, it is cold. The wind blew so much today that the gondolas that take you up to get a birdseye view of the lake were not running.

We decided to go to Tahoe using a Worldmark deal. We stayed the night in El Dorado with Robin on December 29th to help break up the drive. We left bright and early to drop JT off at Heavenly daycare and we went boarding. Well we happened to go on a day where it's Tahoes coldest and windiest. We only did a few runs because only 2 lifts were opened, Stagecoach and comet. The visibility was so bad and he wind was worse. When there was a gust of wind, it was impossible to see. It ...

Soon after that, mum and I went on Hot Wheels whilst everyone else went and skied at another slope. We all had a lot of fun and went and out for dinner at a pizza place. I thought that today was ...

... DO NOT PASS THIS POINT" after timeless attempts I managed to get my skis facing down hill. Screaming I flew down the mountain I went over a sharp bump and my skis flew off and went tumbling down the mountain. I ended up walking till I reached a flatter corner where I could put my skis on. Then another steep mountain I ended up tumbling down. We ended up skiing down from the Gold Coast (the opposite side of the mountain facing away from Squaw Valley) ...

Alex and Fin stuck with us until Alex had to go give Olin some lunch money. Soon after Ben, Lu and I were on our own, Ben wanted to go solo. He likes getting off the lift and going. Ben likes to go pretty fast and does not worry about wiping out. Lu is the opposite. She sees wiping out as failure and a sign of ...
