... are! Town just as I imagined. Motel lovely and lots of little streets to wander around and bars and restaurants. Went up in the castle, which isn't so impressive, and up the tower. Then wandered a bit more, had a drink at a bar, then dinner on the river , watching the canoes and rafts coming in. Then went to a piano bar and sat with a yank from Charlstn... Had a good ...

... letters, this Computer is programmed for German and keeps throwing in Capitals! the letters on the Keyboard are also in different places, most crucually, z and Y - so I Keep putting z instead of y! the question mark is also in a different place. Now I wouldn't call myself a touch typist, but it's more automatic than I realise!

PPS sorry about lack of entries so far, no wifi in house! Enjoy this one ...

... prices. The big yellow buses have individual tv screens with a selection of movies, onboard Wifi, reserved seats, and even hostesses that serve you complimentary water and hot drinks. We have used them several times now, and think they are great!

As soon as we arrived into CK and started walking from the bus station to our accommodation we could see the colourful tower of the castle towering above the town, and walking down the cobble stoned streets, we were ecstatic ...

... in this part of the world unless you like great hunks of meat, lots of pork, dumplings which are mostly large stodgy lumps, occasional green beans, eggplant and capsicum. You should have seen the cheese plate meant for one person........ Easily could feed 6 people - no crackers just hunks of cheese. A highlight was a "trdelnik" a Czech type of donut rolled onto a steel rod that gets cooked over hot coals and then rolled in sugar - yummy!

... the water. Upon paying for our two man raft we boarded a bus with four Asians who looked like they hadn't seen a paddle in their life. It was comforting to know that the oriental quartet were likely to look more foolish than us. They saluted. Once we dropped off Taiwan's Olympic K4 squad the friendly driver took us further up stream to Zaton where it was our turn to take the plunge.
