    ... that's not what we did. Instead, we bought a Hot N' Ready pizza, grabbed a cheap bottle of wine, headed back to our room and collapsed while watching reruns of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. We drank the wine out of plastic cups and ate the pizza off of ripped off pieces of the cardboard box. Needless to say, it was a spectacular evening all around.

    ... snack lunch at Najah's Desert Oasis. Thankfully, no kicks there either!

    Well, we've been through the desert ..., and we're now in Barstow. Craig did go for a swim at our hotel here, even though the hotel warns that the cleaning materials for the pool cause cancer!

    Sorry, no blog tomorrow, as we will be without internet access on the Rankin Ranch in California (sorry, Mary-Ann), so we will update you on Tuesday.

    We said goodbye to our beautiful hotel and boarded the bus for Las Vegas. On the way we stopped at The Tanger Outlet centre at Barstow. Some serious shopping was done here.
