    While getting ready for work, my thoughts turn to going home. It's going to be an unconventional trip back as I won't be actually get home to Wales until Sunday.     ... Bomber' live on. A lady fitting the description above yells at me to 'enter the scanner, sir!' Everyone goes through a wrap around scanner, it takes 3 seconds. Nice.

Just the equipment to move these things from one place to another were massive and the building where the rockets were built and housed was huge. At 525-foot-tall the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), where the Apollo rockets and space shuttles were assembled made you feel extraordinarily small.
