... Mondays, we came to the conclusion that it was indeed Monday since Franklins were very much closed.

Not on Meredith's list but the next BBQ place we found was Stubbs BBQ and we can now see why this joint did not make the cut. The meat was dry dry dry. Only once we were leaving did we notice the giant barbecue sauce jar on the table behind the menus which may have helped make it less dry.

Kathy, coffee at Joe's and then headed back for stage one of the
birthday celebration. For stage 2, we returned to the St. Cecelia, the
Hamiltons and Trucksesses joined us and we swam and talked a little bit.
We retired to Kathy's room for some HomeSlice and Amy's birthday cake
and then headed up the street to meet ...

... what to expect from the hospital or its staff, but I've been impressed so far. Everyone who talked to us was very nice, helpful and seemed to actually care. The facility is beautiful, having been recently renovated. The floors are spacious, everyone gets a private room, the hallways are really wide and the decor is something you actually notice as being attractive. Which is weird to me having seen as many ugly, utilitarian hospitals as I have ...
