I want to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving.
I had a great thanksgiving week. I want to thank some of you who have already donated. Thank You.

My grandparents came and brought me money from some of my sponsors. I had to make sure I sent out thank you e-mails. My dad had to send in more money to People to People so I could get a confirmed spot in the program.

I will have soap for sale soon, and details of my other fundraisers.

... love of the child or fear of the loss? I cannot say. But I know it makes me wonder. It makes me wonder if there isn't an inherent dose of one always within the other.

We can fall out of love. We can overcome fear. It is possible to be dealing with the good and end with a bad, and also to start off with a bad and end with a good. Is one innately more desirable and beneficial than the other? I would have to disagree.

As much as we grew to miss normalcy in the last couple months of our trip, now that we have that, our daydreams continue to drift back -- driving the Jetstar into a bridge abutment after a day of wine tasting in New Zealand, bargaining with locals while asking dumb questions, Asian toilet butt sprayers, questionable Spanish pronunciations, observing our fighting French neighbors, alleged manta-ray sightings, getting shoved by a Vietnamese cabby ...

... It's very colorful and in a converted old industrial building. Yet another place that was so crowded, it took us multiple loops through the neighborhood trying to get a parking space.

... days before, so I had gotten to hang out with her already. People were awesome for coming and hanging out. We had a blast. We went from early afternoon until the early hours of the next morning. Drunk Cranium was a lot of fun. I have great friends. But I don't have pictures. Someone must though. Email me if you do.

... the stop sign, he asked for a few tools and proceeded to unloosen bolts holding the stop sign, more people joined in, a volunteer firemen called the cops. Good news the stop sign is loose and disconnected from the trailer,... back her up says one guy... Oh great.... backing up,  me !  I did it like a pro (didn't hit anything else) straighten her out and then parked on the other side and had to wait for my tools ( they had to put the stop sign back up of course) then up a little ...

... to think about packing. That exercise will be reserved for the weekend prior to departure. So what's in the tub? All the electrical plugs for all the devices, camera, extra camera memory cards, sound canceling earphones (hmmm, wonder if I can sleep in these), the Kindle (Google it), the computer, and the list goes on. So I'm sure you are asking "Flugtag? What is Flugtag?" Well, it is a contest were teams build these crazy flying/ gliding machines that they then push off of a long ramp. They try to fly as far as they can before they crash 30ft. into a lake below. Who wouldn't want to watch a bunch of crazy people willingly throw themselves off a 3 story ramp in a vehicle that resembles a cross between a hang glider and a UFO. Oh hell yeah, we'll drive to Austin for that.
