Hello from the Christchurch International Airport tarmac. We survived driving on the left side of the road. The first day of driving was pretty rough---both of us tended to hug the left (which here was the no shoulder side of the road, in the states it would be the center line obviously). However, we quickly adjusted and thankfully had no incidents. John and I have been up since 3:45 ...

We'll be off again on Tuesday and wanted to give you a link for our new blog.

This blog doesn't send out email notices for new entries so if you want to follow us, we suggest you put our blog page in you favorites. We'll be spending a lot of time on the beach and exploring off the grid and so won't be uploading everyday, but should have access to wifi for uploading several times during our stay.
