    ... to Atlantic City, but I was really not impressed with what was there. The tourist area was minimal and there were no souvenir shops as far down as I walked. The only thing available to me was a shopping mall along the beach where most of the stores had closed so it looked minimal. There were also restaurants and Casinos, but really, I had no desire to waste a fortune trying to score big.

    ... and swam for as long as they could take it. Thursday night was tacos at our place and then Win, Lose or Draw after the kids were asleep.

    Friday morning the sun was out and we headed to the beach. We had a great setup and an awesome day at the beach! Of course we're all wiped out now but ready to do it again tomorrow!

    Yesterday was only a 3 hr drive which was so easy after it long ones! We stopped twice to kill some time, once at the Purple Penguin roadside food stand for Russ to get a Philly cheesesteak and second time for beer. The Purple Penguin had an awesome old school metal playground ...

    ... corner called White House Sub Shop. In its original spot since the 1940s, the restaurant was simple and probably one we would have passed by on the street. However, inside the walls were covered with photographs of celebrities, beauty queens, chefs, etc. that had eaten at the restaurant. There were pictures of Bill Cosby, Miss Americas, Bobby Flay, Cher, and the list goes on and on. The subs were good, but actually not the best ...

    ... which is a beautiful area and holds childhood memories for LH. The next day we drove up to our last beach, Atlantic City, New Jersey via the ferry. Here we relaxed on the beach, walked up and down the boardwalk and had a lovely meal before we departed to make our way to Philidelphia. 4 states in 4 days....is that normal? Good bye beaches. ...
