... arrived in the late afternoon. The Knife and Fork Inn restaurant had great reviews and we were lucky enough to get a reservation that night. The food and atmosphere were great but unfortunately it turned out to be the highlight of our weekend … After dinner we walked to the boardwalk. The Inn was not in the main area and on our way we walked past a huge hotel and casino that was abandoned. The boardwalk is extremely long but you can’t see the ocean from the ...

Turns out we really only knew about 4 songs but had a good time. As I was watching the people around and in front of me that were so into the music, I ...

We are here at the Jersey shore and had the drizzel rain and grey skys of the Northwest yesterday. This morning we woke to beautiful blue skys and sunshine. 75 and a little breeze at the beach. Walked on the boardwalk here in Brigatine and out to the water to see all the shells. Had a lunch at a little greek cafe and ate outside in the sun. After ...

Being a fan of the TV series Boardwalk Empire, which is set in AC during the prohibition era, as well as The Sopranos and other mobster based productions I was expecting guns, gals and gambling.....maybe even a Tommy Gun!

Instead we walked into a virtual ghost town, in fact the day before our arrival Donald Trump had officially closed the doors on his Taj Mahal casino. The boardwalk is ...
