Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.

I learned more from the staff and was close enough to other volunteers to discuss the archaeology of our grid with them. ... to make my visit to the Luling City Market well worth while. However, sticking around, blogging and having a couple of beers with locals in the bar at the Market was just a great deal of fun. It was not unlike the neighborhood bar at Ride The Nine in Bloomington or the TV show Cheers.
