      ... br> We saw where we are going to be rafting and saw a lot of rafts and kayakers on the river. There are remnants of mining and we hope that our rafting guide will know the history of the area. While we were there, a train tour passed by right along the river. The dogs enjoyed the romp in the wilderness too.

      ... it damaged the bridge and a tram and several other attractions in the area. John remembers crossing that bridge when he came out here with his parents as a teenager. They are in the process of rebuilding the park that was there and the bridge.

      ... and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The owners Mark and Sandy live on the property and are always making sure things are well maintained. They have owned the park for about five years. Prior to that, they owned the grocery store in Telluride and then were missionaries in the Yucatan for seven years.
