We left on the 16th of September 2014 to go on our trip to Ireland. We are going to the following places Dublin, Castlemartyr, Naas and Spanish Point. We got in the maxi taxi to the airport. When we got there we got the bags and got trolleys to put them on. We went down to our check-in for Emirates. After that we went through to customs and got our other bags checked. Now back to my quarters for some dinner cooked by my lovely house host followed by some much needed sleep.

And why is it that my husband and I are embarking on this 6 month adventure? He's taking a long overdue sabbatical and I couldn't resist ...

... can report that the Whopper tastes the same in US, Ireland and Australia.

Most of my trips lately have only been 8 days or so in duration when travelling to Ireland but this trip is 18 days which can be hard. The way I keep myself sane as I am so far away from my family is try and picture what it would be like to be a soldier on a tour of duty for a year. When I think of that sacrifice that others make, I realize I can make it on this trip.
