... but got what she was after. This store is in Oxford St, which along with Regent St are the busiest shopping streets in the world. Looking down either street from a bus, all you can see is a sea of people...shudder! Caught a bus home and had dinner at Pizza Hut just up the road. It's still light at 9pm, which disgusts Ker :) The public transport system is fantastic, you don't have to wait more than a few minutes for a bus. We haven't ...

... One of the interesting purchases we made were some finger limes which we later used in, yes you guessed it, our G&T’s! Little caviar-like segments of juicy limeness made for a delicious addition to our evening drinks :-) The “bogan" winery that EO has mentioned was called Sirromet and Lee was actually doing her best not to recommend it! The last time she visited she felt that most of the wine was a bit rough, so you can imagine our shock when we ...

We spent this morning wondering around Brisbane and headed to the Roma Street Parkland. It was free to walk around so we took the guided walk around the grounds admiring all the flowers and streams. We came across families of lizards and almost stepped on a few they were so camouflaged! It was all going so well until I noticed a gigantic spider hanging in its web just where we planned on walking. It was multicoloured ...
