      ... bus terminal and gained our bearings before heading to our hostel on cricket street. We checked in and headed down to the city centre and got a bunch of leaflets at the info centre before walking up Queen Street and attending the local farmers market.

      We got back, planned what we wanted to see and do during the next few days and called it a night.

      ... I didn't remember the cushions for the bed being so thin. That's gonna be a problem. I was happy we had our home base for the next 3 weeks and was hoping it would work well enough for Kristen. Given that Kristen had never really camped I was hoping 3 weeks in the campervan wasn't too ambitious! My first impressions - it was definitely tight quarters, the carpet on the floor was a little dirty, and I wasn't so sure how I felt about sleeping on the lumpy pillows ...

      ... i didn't book from december through to may otherwise id be there during the wet season.

      All travellers heading to Peru need to be up to date on their routine vaccines and most travellers should have their hepatitis A and Typhoid you can contract these from contaminated foods.

      My passports done, my vaccinations are up to date and i am ready to go.
