          ... was terrified of the bears- they can break the glass of the windows. They were around as we saw someone had left a rubbish bag out and in the morning it was all strewn across the road. I saw two bald eagles-one carrying a fish.

          Lake Tahoe - how we love Lake Tahoe. The waters are so pure and the colors so beautiful. While the crowds are the worst in July and August, one cannot pass up the opportunity to experience the beauty of these glacial waters and, as it turns out, the fierceness of Mother Nature.           Today we had a bit of a delay as we had to tend to some business back home. We didnt get out and about until lunch time and we decided to drive around the lake. We stopped at a few view points to take some photos, it is just stunning here, so clean and fresh and you can see the bottom of the lake through the crystal clear water.
