    ... is very low and the previous high watermark can clearly be seen a good ten meters or more above the current water level. This time the water level was high, trees close to the edge of the lake were submerged by the lake water.

    ... and pick-up another pet moth and the First National Bank. The folks in the First National bank were a might friendly although I got the impression we may have disturbed their game of eye spy!

    After raiding the bank we swung by the Tucumcari Dinosaur museum to take a look at the new additions and peruse the gift shop. The Tucumcari dinosaur museum is an regular pilgrimage site for us and is filled with lots of lovely bronze dinosaur sculptures ...

    ... 8:30 am. It was freezing when we hopped out of our 5 Star digs (the pickup) at 6:15 am. The thermometer said 49 degrees and I shivered and shook while putting the finishing touches on Thursday's blog.
