    ... use the Flash Pass on so decided to face the 30 minute queue and it was worth every minute! It was a shoot off ride like Rita but then leads into a slow moving loop, you almost come to a stop. Then half way round you come to a half and assume you are going to shoot forward, nope that would be too obviously, you shoot backwards at full speed!! Ace! Finished up with Ninja (a head rattling suspended rollercoaster), Viper (the US versions of Thorpe Parks ...

    ... went to the Avalon theater/bar when Diane's son works. We got the grand tour of the place from the manager. Very neat old place with different themed rooms. My favorite was the Moroccan themed one.

    We walked around a bit more, and drove by Grauman's Chinese theater. There were a bunch of folks dressed-up and performing on the sidewalks. We then took the son back to his place.

    ... of the park, we spotted the 'Full Throttle'. This being the newest ride had the smallest ride time and one of the smallest lines (makes no sense, right?). It had a loop and some other stuff and to be honest, it wasn't that exciting. I think the best bit was the ride operator.
    Guy: Are you guys ready?
    Everybody: Yeah!!

    Went down to the 49ers bar at Acton with Evelyn, Taylor and Eric last night. It was dark but the place was like a real old Wild West type saloon with memorabilia on the walls and men in cowboy hats. Should have taken some photos. We had 'virgin margaritas' ( tasted like a strawberry shaved ice' - no alcohol) and salsa; corn chips ; guacamole ...
