... hill out of Palm Desert, and then wind up narrow twisty canyon roads to find their home at the end of the road, having negotiated quite a few twists and turns.
We arrived and were totally enthralled to visit Ron's pottery studio, exploring his pots with the crystalline glazes, then we went down to visit Susan's print making studio where she makes prints and paints, wonderful works by both of them. A feast for the eyes, both people's work.
... 25 degree temperatures but we also haven't experienced the truly pleasant conditions that we had hoped for this vacation. We had the record-setting lows in New Orleans with frozen water and sewer lines and it seems we left Texas just before they got hit with major snowstorms and icy road conditons.

After talking to the park rangers, we learnt that there are several god campsites within the park. and for $10 a night, whats not to love? again, the stunning desert sunsets leave us speechless, and the fire we have in our pit is just the tonic in the cold desert (that and the bottle of red wine we are polishing off !!) a peaceful and tranquil nights sleep sees us sleeping in til 8am!! peace and quiet works wonders!!

Jenny & her dad danced to Over the Rainbow Hawaiian song. Rich & I then joined them and it was so nice! Everyone else stepped on to the dance floor to join the love!
Rich & Jen put together play lists of such perfection. It included something for everyone.
