Early today I was on TV in Baton Rouge LA. My friends, Tom and Donna Westbrook of Dallas TX, daughter Lauren is a news anchor in the morning at WAFB Channel 9 in Baton Rouge LA. We will publish the link soon... and our story will air tomorrow, Friday night on the 5 o'clock news. It was a great experience and the staff were great. I felt like a celebrity. We jumped on an earlier bus from SA to Houston which was a pretty quick bus ride - about 4.5 hours! We stayed at an Airbnb about 15minutes drive from Downtown Houston. The lady we stayed with was Mel and even though she was lovely - 2 days was enough. She was very opinionated and also invited herself out to dinner on night one. Had a seafood dinner and a couple of litres of Diet Coke. If you order a soft drink here by the time you are half way through your glass another mysteriously arrives and if you start on the second glass don't be surprised when the third glass rocks up.
