    ... He said he had actually seen them hunting. One was watcher and the others hunted in group. Also told a story of a young bison killed by them and the mother bison stayed with the dead baby and would not let them approach. He had also seen grizzly tracks in the area but said would be safe to hike to the top of the hill because you are out in the open.

    Early start to get into a really popular...but quite small and completely un-bookable campground, Signal Mountain... We did manage to see a moose and two little ones in the Gros Ventre campground as we were leaving, which was really special. Incredible drive up through the Tetons, not a cloud in the sky and both Grand Teton and Mt Moran looked amazing. We're pretty sure Grand Teton was the mountain used for the Paramount pictures opening shot, but I'm sure someone ...

    ... huge welcome arch made completely out of Elk antlers and a mountain at the end of the Main Street. Or maybe they weren't REAL Elk antlers were they? There is an Elk refuge across the road from our hotel! Poor Elks
