... heavens opened up and we were absolutely soaked. Saw a moose with her two young mooslings (baby moose?). Did a pretty Lacey walk back to the car, then off for a drive about a mountain or two. Nice and scenic but not much compared to Yosemite in all honesty. Back to the supermarket to stock up on food. Going very cheap for the next couple of days. Bread, Philadelphia, and two microwave meals will do for 6 meals for only 9 dollars. Not much to talk about from the night. ...

We’re a little travel weary, so it will take a couple of days to come back down to reality. We both agree that it’s important to take lots of breaks on a big road trip like this and we did just that by staying here and there for a couple of days and walking whenever we could.
