... by. After about 25 minutes, I arrived at my hotel, the IBIS Novena. I stepped out of the air conditioned vehicle and into a wave of immense moisture and heat. I was expecting 27 degrees Celsius but I never imagined what the humidity would do to this normally wonderful temperature! It feels so heavy, like it's an effort just to move because of it. ... it was so enjoyable, probably because it seemed a little naughty, but everyone was doing it so, what the hell.

With the price of a sling a steep 16gbp, we decided one was enough, and we headed back to our room. I guess in a way it lived up the hype; the atmosphere and the peanuts, and defnitely not to miss if you ever end up in Singapore, in need of a drink.

We started the day knowing that we wanted to get on the hop on hop off bus around Singapore and boy was it a scorcher. Not necessarily hotter but definitely more humid. We started early because we ahem left our camera charger at home - duh!

We knew we could grab a camera charger from a store close by and get on with the day. Sadly Singapore only really opens at 11am and ...
