... me in to $200 hair clip ins) and the wonderful night sky are quite amazing - in fact the children did think we were outside when we first got there the sky's so realistic. Again it would have been another $100 for a gondola ride and the guy singing 'just one Cornetto' would have been very embarrassing judging by the looks on the faces of the poor Japanese group that were on one at the moment. Then a long hot walk to The Flamingo as the animal attraction there is free - we can see why ...

We brought a couple of new clothing items as we realise we actually have nothing that really goes or is warm, ...

Within a few minutes of being in the taxi I had a sneaking suspicion that the driver was taking us the long way round given we had flown parallel with the Strip and we were now heading away from the Strip. $40 later and we were at our hotel. The hotel advised us that it should have only cost about $20 and should not have taken so long to get here. The Shuttle Transfer would have cost us $15. Another travel ...

... me a little though. We headed out and walked down to the Mirage on the Las Vegas Boulevard. I have to say I had forgotten how hard it is to walk down the Boulevard, it is not a straight walk you have to go I and out of hotels and up and down stairs. This was not easy because firstly I am unfit and secondly it was still stifling hot. I felt unwell by the time we got to the Mirage so we crossed the road to find somewhere to sit in Harrads ...
