      Stay away from the Osprey!!!

      from

Rudest employee's I've ever met. I've never been treated so horribly by hotel staff anywhere. Would not recommend staying at the Osprey.

Besides being rude, the hotel is falling apart. Be careful when standing on the balcony!

      Love it!!

      from

My family and I have stayed here for years. The hotel management always makes it VERY family oriented. You never turn around without seeing a smiling face! We will continue to stay here for our vacations.

      Great Value!

      from

We stayed at the Osprey Motel during Spring Break and loved this hotel.

It was a very family friendly motel considering the time of year we went. The beach was picture perfect. Also, the location of the hotel is a little to the west of most of the action, but it is still in a great location for shops and restaurants. The only complaint that I had was with the front desk staff. I encountered one rude employee, but I didn't let it hamper my stay!

      Spectacular

      from

The Osprey is definitely a 1st class resort, couldn't expect anything more from a hotel. The rooms were magnificant and the price was unbelievable. Great deal.

      Great family trip

      from

my family and i stayed there about 7 years ago and loved the place. the location and the cleanessof the motel was great. i hope to get to come back this year.

      We enjoyed it so much.....

      from

We enjoyed our first visit to the Osprey in October of 2002 that we went back and were married on their beach in May of 2003. Wonderful Staff! Joanie at the desk is especially terrific and Daryl at the tiki bar makes a great Pinal Colada! The rooms are always spotless (thank you Becky in housekeeping) and it is very sad when the time comes to check out.

Thank you for the champagne and we hope that you enjoyed the cake! We will be back.

      Great place

We stay there every year and have enjoyed every visit. Nice staff and clean rooms. Looking forward to our next visit.

The Osprey, you can't beat it!!

      from

My family first stayed at the Osprey 7 years ago and have stayed there every year since. The rooms are clean and roomy, the staff is excellent (we love Mike) and they are family oriented. The also have a tiki bar which is very nice as it is also kid friendly. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

      Great staff!!!!!

      from

I recently stayed at the Osprey. the staff was nicer than what i normally run into. Mike was especially accomodating. The rooms were clean and fresh as well as entire hotel. I will definetly go back there to stay and enjoy every minute as well as I did this time. Thanx guys, especially Mike and Tammi.

      Awesome place to stay...

      from

We stayed at the Osprey 2 years ago and loved it. It is located on the strip, but a mile or so from all the action. We could drive everywhere we wanted to go and it was nice. The hotel room was large and clean, the staff was great, and the beach was awesome. Can't wait to go back!

... a bit grittier – surprise!!. It was not what she expected. So many people eat this in the south everyday. We noticed a woman in the restaurant when leaving who had a couple of biscuits with grape jelly and a large plate of grits with big pads of butter and salt and pepper generously applied. She looked very content.

We saw some really large birds in the parking lot just outside the restaurant that look like ...

... planned to do the same on Saturday morning but the wind shifted and increased so we decided to walk instead. We have been walking pretty reguarly 4-5 miles per day and this one was about 5.5 miles. The rain began shortly after our return and has not let up except for a few minutes here and there. Saturday I went out to refill water, and see another movie then got back early.

Today (Sunday), it is pouring rain off and ...

Our penultimate day on the road saw us make our way to Panama City for a stop over at a beach resort. Situated on the Gulf of Mexico the resort boasts white sand and warm water, with a generous pool and splash park it is a great place for a family vacation. We were greeted by a tropical storm which saw the pool closed due to the numerous lighting bolts lighting up the sky.Our plan ...

Woke up today to the overwhelming humidity in our tent. I got up and meandered about for the morning doing laundry, showering and lazing by the pool. Once I got all my errands out of the way. Headed down to the beach, the heat was already unbelievably harsh. Needless to say I didn't spend a lot of time on the beach but instead was frolicking around in the water. The water was surprisingly warm and almost was too warm to cool you down to a comfortable temperature. After ...

... and marshmallows. He got a few of them to jump but it wasn't anything super spectacular. The swamp was absolutely stunning in parts, when we pulled off the main river into the little streams it was like another world entirely. Basically had entered Narnia. On the way out we saw a big alligator possibly between 8 and 10 feet. This one jumped pretty high and it was very impressive compared to the others. Once the tour finished up we ate lunch in the car park there ...
