... so our white bods were more protected.
Had a nice lunch at one of the places at Pier Park and then back for a swim and a shower. Later we ventured out to complete the unfinished Mini Golf game that Louise was presently in the lead after hole #1. Well well well tonight was finally our night. Team Marshmeier finally prevailed over the Sach power couple. We ...
... so good to sit in that dark room with air conditioning while supping on a large diet coke. The vendor had asked me where in Oz I was from, which is the first time i have heard that comment in a while. I'm starting to wonder if maybe I am really from Australia? 6 out 10 Americans can't be wrong can they?
For the record we watched the latest Woody Allen flick "Blue Jasmine", which i thought was pretty good, although the only other couple ...
... the restaurant. We sat outside where we could here the music from Tootsies Orchid Lounge across the way. (Two Tootsie's sightings in less than 3 days) Pier park was kind of like a massive Disney-esque shopping center. It all looked larger than life and brand new.
Stopped at the Daiquiri shack to try another flavor but this time the rigid woman who owns it was there and they were good but just not as generous and delicious. oh well...I'm at the beach who can complain.
... Carl's). After lunch it was sleeping beauties turn at the wheel, which gave me some time to relax. We switched off driving from here on in every hour or so and arrived in Panama City Beach at around 7pm where we were reunited with our good friends Marc and Louise.
It was a hot and humid tent setup followed by a dinner consisting of soup, before M and L took us for a well earned Daiquiri at the hut that was just ...
Boys are still in Tallahassee, so I got to spend time w my sisters, taking them to see the houses I saw & they loved my favorite one! We laugh so hard when we're together! Lunch at Finn's & I am learning my way around pcb! Picked up the boys & got ready to leave for northern Alabama. Went over to visit w one of my favorite people, Shea's mom, Wendy. I just love her! Took the kids to Funtown where we played lots of games (skeeball!) & won lots of ...

Stay away from the Osprey!!!
Rudest employee's I've ever met. I've never been treated so horribly by hotel staff anywhere. Would not recommend staying at the Osprey.
Besides being rude, the hotel is falling apart. Be careful when standing on the balcony!
My family and I have stayed here for years. The hotel management always makes it VERY family oriented. You never turn around without seeing a smiling face! We will continue to stay here for our vacations.
We stayed at the Osprey Motel during Spring Break and loved this hotel.
It was a very family friendly motel considering the time of year we went. The beach was picture perfect. Also, the location of the hotel is a little to the west of most of the action, but it is still in a great location for shops and restaurants. The only complaint that I had was with the front desk staff. I encountered one rude employee, but I didn't let it hamper my stay!
The Osprey is definitely a 1st class resort, couldn't expect anything more from a hotel. The rooms were magnificant and the price was unbelievable. Great deal.
Great family trip
my family and i stayed there about 7 years ago and loved the place. the location and the cleanessof the motel was great. i hope to get to come back this year.
We enjoyed it so much.....
We enjoyed our first visit to the Osprey in October of 2002 that we went back and were married on their beach in May of 2003. Wonderful Staff! Joanie at the desk is especially terrific and Daryl at the tiki bar makes a great Pinal Colada! The rooms are always spotless (thank you Becky in housekeeping) and it is very sad when the time comes to check out.
Thank you for the champagne and we hope that you enjoyed the cake! We will be back.

We stay there every year and have enjoyed every visit. Nice staff and clean rooms. Looking forward to our next visit.
The Osprey, you can't beat it!!
My family first stayed at the Osprey 7 years ago and have stayed there every year since. The rooms are clean and roomy, the staff is excellent (we love Mike) and they are family oriented. The also have a tiki bar which is very nice as it is also kid friendly. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.
I recently stayed at the Osprey. the staff was nicer than what i normally run into. Mike was especially accomodating. The rooms were clean and fresh as well as entire hotel. I will definetly go back there to stay and enjoy every minute as well as I did this time. Thanx guys, especially Mike and Tammi.
Awesome place to stay...
We stayed at the Osprey 2 years ago and loved it. It is located on the strip, but a mile or so from all the action. We could drive everywhere we wanted to go and it was nice. The hotel room was large and clean, the staff was great, and the beach was awesome. Can't wait to go back!
