Today was a break day for both Bryn and me, which was a happy relief with the work that went into the competition all week. Bryn decided to go to Disney World with her friends Lexi and Emily and their moms. I decided to stay at the dorms and do laundry, clean up, and catch up on e-mails. It was a great day! Bryn didn't get back until 12a, but this list ...

After skipping the hour and a half queue, we were on the ride just about to plummet 20 meters into a splash pool when the ride broke down, left on the precipice. The ride operator was great, he asked if I was ok or if I wanted to get off and gave me a minute until I could at least breathe again. In retrospect I should probably have stepped off, but all I could think was "I'm holding it up I have to go", so I went. By the time the ride stated in earnest the room had stopped swimming, but I still couldn't ...

... very intelligent, but he likes you to know it. Out of the blue, he asked me what my view was on Scottish Independence, which almost caused me to fall asleep on the spot. However, other times he comes out with funny stuff, and he’s given me a lot of tips on where to go and where to avoid, which has been helpful. Now, despite the fact that we’ve drank together, ate together and been on a few off licence trips together (he drives), I still have NO ******* ...
